Woke leftist Veterans Administration officials recently tried to institute a
ban on one of the most iconic photographs in AmericanHISTORY.

<[link removed]>
If you don’t know, this photo was taken on V-J Day at the end of World War II
in Times Square, and shows a sailor kissing a nurse upon hearing the
long-awaited news of Japan’s surrender.
Banning this photo shouldn’t have even been a conversation in the first place.
Such a patriotic picture should NEVER

be subject to the wokeness that’s already gripped schools and businesses
around the nation.
The best part of this all is that the officials who did this went BEHIND their
bosses’ back.
Luckily, that didn’t fly, and the photo will remain.

Back home in Sarasota, we have an iconic statue of this photo:

And I for one never want to see this taken down.
And neither do the residents of Sarasota, many of whom served this country in
World War II themselves!
