John – This is MASSIVE news.

Just hours ago, Representative Ken Buck announced he is leaving Congress next week.

Buck had already announced his plan to retire at the end of this term, but his immediate departure from Congress will now trigger a special election.

Here’s what this means for our race:

We’re still in the running for the normal election in November, BUT, we may be running in the special election as well.

Our campaign is far and away in the strongest position to take this seat, and if we win the special election then we head into November as the INCUMBENT in this race.

The time to flip CO-04 is right NOW. We need a surge of grassroots donations to help me ramp up immediately. So my team and I just set a goal to raise $100,000 by the end of this week.

This news JUST broke, so it’ll be a few days before we have all the details, but we expect this election to happen FAST.
