The kicker? These headlines aren’t even about the same looming government shutdown — because Republicans have pushed us to the brink three separate times already.

The first one was written when our government almost shut down in September. The second one was written when our government was almost shut down in October. And the third one was written just last week when our government was on the brink of another shutdown.

Together they illustrate a point that we’ve been making all along — MAGA Republicans cannot be trusted to do the job the American people elected them to do.
