Subject: March Campaign Update: you're invited!

Hope you're staying safe and staying home if you are able to! If you're looking for a little social engagement or a short break from your daily routine, join us for the March Campaign Update on March 30th, open to all Victory Fund members and supporters!

March Campaign Update with Jessice Benham and Jamie McLeod-Skinner

Victory Fund President & CEO Mayor Annise Parker will host Jamie and Jess for a discussion about their campaigns, how they'll work to improve LGBTQ lives and their path to victory. And they'll be taking your questions! If you have a question for our speakers, submit them here.

During her two terms on the Santa Clara City Council, Jamie led the charge to adopt advanced protections for the trans community and secure strong environmental protection standards. She has made increasing economic access, including supporting small and family businesses and increasing economic diversification in rural areas, a key pillar of her campaign for Oregon Secretary of State.

In Pennsylvania, Jess Benham is working to be the first openly LGBTQ woman elected to the Pennsylvania state legislature and one of the first autistic state representatives ever elected. Jess is running against an anti-trans Trump supporter. While her opponent has a history of anti-LGBTQ Facebook posts, Jess is staying focused on fighting for affordable healthcare, workers' rights and working to ensure basic protections for the LGBTQ community.

We're excited to host these two amazing candidates. Hope you can join us on March 30th!

Thanks again for your support.

LGBTQ Victory Fund has helped thousands of openly LGBTQ candidates win elections up and down the ballot, from sea to shining sea since our founding in 1991. We believe representation is power – so we elected U.S. Senators Tammy Baldwin and Kyrsten Sinema, Governors Jared Polis and Kate Brown, all seven LGBTQ members of U.S. Congress and countless candidates for state and local government, including Virginia Delegate Danica Roem, Colorado state Representative Leslie Herod and Pennsylvania Assemblymember Brian Sims. And with an unprecedented number of LGBTQ people running for office in this year, we’ll need your support to make 2020 the next Rainbow Wave.
