We just wrapped up another busy month making progress for working families. Here's a quick recap of what Bill Pascrell accomplished:


In February, Bill… Announced enactment of his Privacy Protection Bill. President Biden signed Congressman Pascrell’s bipartisan measure to safeguard the private info of military servicemembers and American citizens and keep sensitive personal information out of the wrong hands. Released a new Government Accountability Office report he requested discussing audits of rich tax cheats and ways to improve tax compliance among America’s wealthiest citizens. Bill has been a leader in Congress for years demanding IRS reform and a fairer tax system. Called on the Republican-led House to allow the chamber to vote on a $95 billion package of aid for Ukraine, Taiwan, Israel, and humanitarian assistance that passed the Senate overwhelmingly. Asked the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee to support the 5.3 million individuals living with lifelong disabilities due to traumatic brain injuries. Bill called the Subcommittee to reauthorize the Traumatic Brain Injury Act and federally designate brain injury as a chronic condition. Announced $3.1 Million from FEMA for St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center — supporting the hospital's COVID-19 relief measures, personal protective equipment (PPE) and other lifesaving resources. Bill Pascrell worked closely with the hospital and agency to ensure delivery of this funding. Supported President Biden’s executive order to sanction individuals involved in violence in the West Bank. "Physical violence, destruction of property, and other misbehavior committed by these individuals against their Palestinian neighbors undermines peace and security by design. We want a two-state solution and Israelis and Palestinians to live in security, prosperity, and freedom," said Bill.
