Friend --
<[link removed]>It's time to roll up our sleeves for The 2024 Great Ward 6 Spring Clean, taking place this year on April 6 from 10am-12pm!?
It's one of my favorite events of the year, as we come together as neighbors to spruce up the Ward.?Here's how you can get involved:
- My office hosts at least three main clean-up sites across the Ward, and we'll announce the final list soon.RSVP here to stay updated <[link removed]>.
- We also want community groups and neighbors to pick your own spots and invite others to join you. Last year, we had around 12 neighbor-organized sites, and let's see if we can beat that number. If you'd like to host your own clean-up, please email Kimberly Kennedy <mailto:
[email protected]> on my team, and we'll post it on our website. And if you need supplies, we'll be at the Eastern Market Metro station from 5-6:30pm on April 5 for you to pick them up.
- You can also just walk out the front door and do a little cleaning on your block or in your alley. No further steps needed, but I encourage you to RSVP <[link removed]> to get updates and tweet us a pic using the hashtag #ward6springclean.
This is our third year organizing The Great Ward 6 Spring Clean, and each year has been bigger and better thanks to you. We're also happy to have the partnership of the Hill Rag, Hill is Home, and the Mayor's Office of the Clean City this year. So get out those gloves and grabbers, tell your neighbors, and RSVP <[link removed]>!
Thanks,
Charles Allen
