We want to know what you think, John. Can you take our quick 3 question survey?
While some Republican ideas may seem outlandish, these are real, divisive priorities they're constantly pushing that negatively impact everyday Kansans.
Kansas Democrats in the legislature have been working hard to keep harmful legislation off the table, but the Republican Supermajorities have just enough members to pass any bill they want and can overturn vetoes when things don’t go their way.
This is why we continue to see policies that intend to limit abortion rights, policies that take funding away from public schools – where 90% of our kids go – and send it to private schools, and policies like the reckless flat tax – where most Kansans would only save between $5 and $8 a month, while the wealthiest 20% would get most of the break.
The only way we can stop the Republican extremists from controlling our government is to replace them with common-sense Democrats in 2024.
