** EXPOSED
------------------------------------------------------------
Hello John,

After receiving an alarming tip-off about birds in need, we had to investigate.

The email from a concerned member of the public alleged that wild birds held captive by a company in Kent, were being tied down for long periods and left covered in their own excrement.

This centre, Sky Birds of Prey Displays, hold owls, hawks, falcons and other wild birds captive. They exploit them for entertainment, hiring them out for weddings, parties and 'corporate days'.

With the coronavirus limiting our ability to travel we used other tools at our disposal to expose this centre. And we hit upon something BIG. ([link removed])

We unearthed that this business has been operating without an 'animal activity' licence. This means that for at least 10 months, we believe the centre has been using animals in public displays illegally.

Without this licence they would not have been subject to inspections to make sure they are providing the BASIC care these animals need. Without a licence they are hidden further from scrutiny from authorities and campaign groups like us, who use licence documents to monitor what is happening to animals in these places.

We have shared our findings with the local authority responsible, who are now investigating the company. We are pushing for the company to be prosecuted and will keep you updated!
