Hi friends, it’s Katie Porter.

When I first ran for Congress, it was because I saw how the status quo was serving big corporations and special interests, not Californians.

Today I want to tell you about a leader who I trust to continue our fight: Congressman Robert Garcia.

I’ve known Robert for many years. He served as the Mayor of Long Beach, CA where he was a founding member of the Mayors for Medicare-for-All Coalition, established a tuition free college program, and was a climate warrior.

In Congress, Robert is on the front lines of holding fraudulent lawmakers accountable. From Marjorie Taylor Greene to Jared Kushner and other MAGA extremists, Robert is laser-focused on standing up to politicians who don’t act in the best interest of working people.

I trust him to continue our fight against Big Oil, Big Pharma, and multinational corporations that continue to take advantage of Americans.
