The poll of 415 general election voters was conducted Feb. 20-21 and has a margin of error of +/-4.77. The poll showed illegal immigration as the top issue of concern for district voters, a view held by 21% of those surveyed. After voters are presented with positive and negative messages on both candidates, Barrett’s lead increases to 12%. The poll showed former President Donald Trump leading Joe Biden by 5% in the district, and shows Barrett running 5% ahead of the generic ballot, which favors Republicans by 2%. Read the memo here. |
