Patriot, you might have missed this week’s developments in Texas’ ongoing legal battle with the Biden Administration over the border:
FIRST, on February 29th, a federal judge in Texas issued a decision BLOCKING Senate Bill 4 from being implemented by Texas state officials.
SB 4, which was set to go into effect this week, was signed into law by Governor Greg Abbott in December, allowing any law enforcement in the state to arrest and detain people who cross the Texas border illegally.
NEXT, Texas appealed the decision IMMEDIATELY, and a federal appeals court granted a stay on the lower court’s decision, which meant that the law could go into effect…UNLESS the Supreme Court decided to intervene.
THEN, this news broke:
After the Biden Administration BEGGED them to intervene, the Supreme Court issued an order temporarily blocking SB 4 from going into effect until March 13th.
The reality is that NONE of this back and forth would have been necessary if President Biden had enforced our nation’s border security laws in the first place.
Unfortunately, this is just one of many ongoing courtroom battles Texas is fighting against the Biden Administration, which seems hell-bent on DENYING Texas’ sovereign right to defend our people and our border.
