Dominic Allen, UNFPA representative to Palestine, recently participated in a mission to the few remaining hospitals in Gaza City. What he saw was an absolute catastrophe.

“We drive through the streets, you see hunger, you see desperation, you see fear in people’s eyes,” Dominic told us.

“When we sat with the doctors and midwives, we heard the needs. The need for fuel — fuel to run the hospitals, and for the doctors and midwives themselves who are exhausted,” he added.

“And the need for medical supplies. They’re dealing with C-sections without enough anesthetic on board. They’re dealing with complicated deliveries that require special medical supplies.”

Dominic’s recent mission to Gaza City was to deliver supplies and fuel — humanitarian aid made possible thanks to generous donations.

Your help is still sorely needed to ensure these hospitals, doctors, and heroic midwives can continue to provide vital care to address the desperate situation and urgent needs in Gaza.

Will you make an emergency gift to deliver lifesaving care to those suffering in Gaza and around the world?

The suffering must end. We condemn the violence in Gaza, the West Bank, and Israel, including all sexual violence, and echo the UN Secretary-General’s call for a sustained humanitarian ceasefire and the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages by Hamas.

Thank you for being there.
