Roland got into this race because of the horrible and preventable tragedy that unfolded in Uvalde — and Ted Cruz’s heartless response to it. Although Tuesday’s results weren’t what we wanted, our fight as Democrats isn’t over. In November, we will defeat Ted Cruz and flip Texas blue.
