TXDOT Delays

TxDOT to close lanes on I-14 for construction.

Road crews plan to close the two inside westbound main lanes of Interstate 14 from Knights Way in Harker Heights to Trimmier Road in Killeen each night next week.

?Closures will be in place nightly next week from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. each following morning,? according to a news release from the Texas Department of Transportation on Friday.

?Closures will allow crews to safely remove temporary barrier along I-14 as TxDOT continues their safety project to install permanent concrete and pedestrian barrier from Harker Heights to Killeen.?

The closures will occur from Monday night through the following Sunday, weather permitting, according to TxDOT.

TxDOT encourages motorists to slow down, eliminate distractions, and buckle up driving through work zones.
