Nestled in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of upstate New York, the rolling green pastures of Farm Sanctuary’s 275-acre New York shelter are home to more than 400 rescued cows, pigs, sheep, turkeys, and other farm animals — and each has a special story. These resilient animals are ambassadors for those we continue to advocate for, the billions still suffering within our food system.
During your visit to our sanctuary, you can take an hour-long tour of the shelter with one of our Sanctuary Guides, meeting our rescued residents along the way and enjoy a delicious vegan meal at our new cafe, The Kitchen at Farm Sanctuary! Make an impact by volunteering. Be sure to visit our Sanctuary Shop to browse clothing, vegan goodies, and other merchandise that supports our vital mission to rescue, educate, and advocate.
We are located next door to Sugar Hill State Forest, just west of Watkins Glen.
