As I mark two years with Ground Game Texas, my heart is full of pride and my spirit, charged with an unwavering commitment to our cause. 

I was honored to spend time in Dallas this weekend, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with our incredible local organizers. In these moments of rallying for change, the true spirit of Texas truly shines. Our team, enduring long hours in the unforgiving Texas weather, engaged deeply with the community, driven by a belief in immediate, meaningful change.

What truly inspires me is seeing new faces join our cause – people who’ve never voted before, who’ve been told their voices don’t matter. Their excitement at the prospect of voting for the first time is a testament to the critical work we do in restoring faith in democracy. 

Witnessing community leading community, especially in times when hope seems dim and challenges insurmountable, reaffirms my belief that we are more than the institutions that try to bind us. We are collectively stronger, more imaginative, and undoubtedly mighty.

John, across Texas – from the Rio Grande Valley to Dallas, El Paso, and Lubbock – our campaigns for social justice and democratic engagement are dismantling barriers and reshaping narratives. Each victory moves us closer to a Texas that mirrors the true spirit and diversity of its people.
