They will explore facts such as, over 118,000 foreign-born U.S. residents reported Ireland as their place of birth in 2021 and 42% of people of Irish ancestry 25 years and older have a bachelor?s degree or higher. Our accompanying teaching guide includes an awesome activity based on our fact sheet available for every grade level. For example, teachers can have students suggest an annual tradition their state can start for St. Patrick?s Day and write a letter persuading officials why it?s a good idea.
