This Week Ahead
The House has a short week as it prepares for the DHS budget deadline of March 22nd. The Senate Finance committee looks at Health and Human Services' FY2025 proposed budget in a congressional hearing at which Secretary Becerra will again be questioned on how HHS' handling and mishandling of the over 250,000 Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) that have entered the United States during the Biden Administration is adding to the trafficking of children into child labor or worse. 
In the video above, I also discuss the current state of immigration policy and government funding in the U.S. This highlights the tension between the Biden Administration's desire for funding to more rapidly release those crossing into the U.S. illegally into the country vs. policy changes needed to secure the border.
