Senate probes HHS and Unaccompanied Children at the Border

This Week Ahead

The House has a short week as it prepares for the DHS budget deadline of March 22nd. The Senate Finance committee looks at Health and Human Services' FY2025 proposed budget in a congressional hearing at which Secretary Becerra will again be questioned on how HHS' handling and mishandling of the over 250,000 Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) that have entered the United States during the Biden Administration is adding to the trafficking of children into child labor or worse.
