After the State of the Union address, a long-term liberal friend of mine emailed me that President Biden had performed very well and would go on to defeat Donald Trump in November. I replied his stated scenario is what he wants to believe and that the outcome of the contest remains undefined. I added that significant events will occur before November that will shape the election.
