As we celebrate the impact that women have made in every facet of our lives — we must also be honest, and ask ourselves if our current society truly supports women from all backgrounds.
We’re just three months into the new year, and Republicans have pushed for unconscionable anti-choice legislation that completely negates the safety, bodily autonomy, and wellbeing of women across the country.
This Women’s History Month, we must reaffirm our collective commitment to undoing legislative harms against women, not only in our own communities but in communities that look like ours globally.
That work starts right here with us, John. Through electing and amplifying true progressive champions for change, we can out-vote and out-organize anti-choice electeds who do not truly have women’s best interests at heart.
