Hey John,
The Senate passed a spending bill on Friday, avoiding a partial government shutdown but leaving half of the government in limbo, including the Pentagon and Homeland Security.
House Republicans have less than two weeks to pass a bill preventing the next shutdown threat and send it to the Senate for a vote.
If you feel like we were just here, no, you’re not crazy. The American people have been forced to play far too many rounds of this painstaking game – will they or won’t they?
Will House Republicans put the needs of everyday people first, or will they continue using livelihoods as political pawns? Will they learn how to get their caucus in line and start governing, or will they keep right on being the disorganized, dysfunctional majority party we’re all cringing at?
Folks, I’m sick of it, and I know you are too. I’m running to get our government working again. Can you pitch in and help me defeat Lauren Boebert and bring real leadership back to Congress?
