John,
Last week, as I proudly listened to President Biden deliver his State of the Union address, I was reminded of the core values that drive us: our unyielding commitment to democracy, freedom, and the pursuit of progress on the issues that matter most to us all.
He pulled no punches!
His words resonated deeply with me: “You can’t love your country only if you win.” It’s a reminder that our role in Congress is to serve our entire community and deliver for the people at home, regardless of who is in the White House or who is in the majority.
But make no mistake, we plan to re-elect President Biden for a second term, and ensure that we flip the House so Hakeem Jeffries leads the Democratic Majority.
We must be united in our purpose, and disciplined in our messaging to safeguard the freedoms and opportunities that define who we are as a nation.
As the first Black woman to represent the Pacific Northwest and one of the first Korean women ever elected to Congress, my journey has been one of breaking barriers and challenging the status quo.
I've learned that nothing is guaranteed. This year, with four opponents vying for my seat, the stakes are higher than ever.
I’m counting on your support, John. Will you make a contribution today, ahead of the big March FEC fundraising deadline, so that I can keep fighting for our values in Congress? [[link removed]]If you've stored your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will process immediately.

In my time in Congress, I have been dedicated to delivering real results that impact our lives from housing, safety, and infrastructure in our region, to delivering crucial funds through the American Rescue Plan, and more.
Thank you for your unwavering support and for standing by me as we continue to fight for a more safe, just, and prosperous nation for all.
Sincerely,
Marilyn
