Dear John,
Please join us on Friday, March 22, 2024, at 5:00 pm Japan Time (8:00 UK/ 9:00 Europe/ 10:00 Israel / 16:00 Hong Kong / 17:00 South Korea) for a conference call with Kenneth Guilfoyle, CPA. RSVP here.
“Many happy returns” is an expression used as a greeting to someone on their birthday. It’s 2024! But of these two life events - birthdays and taxes-- we are only definitely blessed with another tax year.
The first task at hand is avoiding double taxation. Unlike almost all other countries, the United States taxes its citizens even if they do not live in the country. The foreign-earned income exclusion mitigates double taxation on income from work, but Americans at all income levels are required to comply with filing requirements even when they owe no tax.
What U.S. tax questions do you have?
Please fill out this survey so that we can be sure to tailor the presentation to your needs.
Here is your chance to ask your questions about US taxation. Please send your questions in advance to [email protected] by March 18, 2024.
During this event, Kenneth Guilfoyle, CPA will review your questions and:
- Offer an overview of (the current) individual US income tax compliance obligations for the American diaspora
- Explain what to do if you have not filed prior US tax returns
- Share insight into the future of US tax policy
Please join us for this informative and interactive webinar! The time is 5 -6 pm JAPAN time. Please make sure to check the time in your region.
The Zoom link will be mailed to you 24 and then 12 hours before the event.
Feel free to email us at [email protected] with any questions.
Sincerely,
Republicans Overseas
