There are two things I want every patient who is considering an abortion to know:

First: You are the expert in your own life. You are the only one who knows what is right for you, and our job as health care providers is to make sure you have all the information you need to get the care you deserve.

Second: You are not alone. Supportive relationships matter so much. Many people have a partner, a friend, a family member, or someone else on whom they can rely. And even if not, there are caring, compassionate nurses, doctors, and other health center staff who show up every day for their patients.

Today is National Day of Appreciation for Abortion Providers, and I want to invite you to honor these incredibly dedicated providers. Will you make a gift in honor of those who help to provide abortion care or in honor of someone you know who has received safe abortion care?
