Friends,

The General Election starts today.

You've been with us every step of the way. So you know that Dave is committed to fighting hard for reproductive freedom, gun violence prevention, and a climate we can pass onto future generations. And I'm sure you also know that control of the House runs through CA-47, so the stakes couldn't be higher.

But you might not know much about our Republican opponent, Scott Baugh. So, here's 3 reasons to consider contributing to Dave Min's effort to keep Baugh out of the halls of Congress:

1. Baugh is an anti-abortion extremist who has endorsed a national abortion ban--without exceptions. For his part, Dave Min has received a 100% legislative record from Planned Parenthood, co-authored the amendment that enshrined abortion in the state constitution, and has called for federal legislation codifying federal abortion rights.

2. Baugh is a self-serving opportunist. With dozens of felony indictments for campaign finance fraud, bribery and perjury, it's obvious who Scott Baugh seeks to represent in Congress: himself. Dave, by contrast, has lived out a live of service in accordance with values, graduating from Harvard Law before joining teams with Sen. Chuck Schumer, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Center for American Progress, and the UCI School of Law.

3. Baugh is a culture warrior in the extreme, citing "wokism" as a greater threat to our nation's security than both World Wars, and 9/11. By way of comparison, Dave joined the SEC after the 9/11 terror attacks in an effort to serve his country, welcomes diversity and equity as American values, and is more focused on putting money in the pockets of working families than getting sound bites on Fox News.

Scott Baugh is an out of touch extremist, and he can't be trusted. We know Republicans are gunning for this seat--they've already spent millions trying to tear down Dave Min, to no avail. Can you chip in today to help us counter what we know is coming?
