Friend,
We’ll cut to the chase: We’re coming up short on our end-of-quarter fundraising goal and need your support. If you can, add a donation here. If you’re not ready to give just yet, please read on.
We are in a difficult moment in this country. In recent weeks, congressional representatives came together across party lines to push for anti-immigrant policies. In his State of the Union address, President Biden doubled down on the failed border bill and parroted dehumanizing rhetoric about immigrants.
The political landscape has shifted radically, and unfortunately, we only expect it to get worse.
Despite these challenges, we refuse to back down. Our work is proof of that. We've been busy on Capitol Hill, defending the right to seek asylum, challenging discriminatory driver’s license laws in Indiana, and urging the Biden administration to finalize its rule to allow DACA recipients access to affordable health care.
Your support is what powers this essential work — in Washington D.C. and across the country.
We have a lot of work ahead of us. In a particularly challenging year, we’re setting our sights high: to surpass last year’s quarterly fundraising goal by 500 donations. If you can, please donate anything you can toward our end-of-quarter goal here >>>
With your help, we can continue to fight back against anti-immigrant attacks and move toward a future where everyone — regardless of where we are from — has the opportunity and freedom to thrive in the U.S.
Thank you for your support,
— National Immigration Law Center
