A majority of Senate Democrats voted YES to the Bipartisan Border Security Bill. **But Trump said NO to this Bill because he wants to keep our border in chaos and use it as a campaign issue.** So Senate Republicans voted NO and MAGA Speaker Mike Johnson called the Bill “dead on arrival” in Congress. **I’m running for Congress in Oklahoma’s First District to defeat the MAGA extremists playing politics at the expense of border security.**



**The Bipartisan Border Bill includes some of the toughest and fairest reforms to secure the border we’ve had in decades.** It’s supported by the Border Patrol Union, the Chamber of Commerce and the South Texas Alliance of Cities. This Bill adds 1,500 new Customs and Border Protection personnel, 4,300 new Asylum Officers, and 100 new immigration judges. It expands detention facilities that are currently over capacity and funds 100 fentanyl detection machines.



This is a Bill supported by the majority of Americans because they support a secure border. This is a bill written by Democrats and Republicans. **This is what responsible, reasonable legislators do – set aside their partisanship to work together to write and pass Bills.** Bills, while not perfect, advance the goal of solving our most pressing problems.



But this is not what MAGA politicians do – they follow Trump’s orders. **MAGA politicians like my opponent, MAGA Rep. Kevin Hern. Hern and his MAGA collaborators would rather grandstand at the border, let the chaos grow, and use it to get re-elected.** Make no mistake – Hern is moving America backward, making us weaker, not solving problems but creating them.



Our campaign is a fight against the MAGA extremism dividing our country. **This campaign is about the reasonable majority putting an end to it by voting for Representatives who place America’s best interests above politics.** Who pass meaningful legislation that moves our country forward. Who are working to create the best version of America.



One of my first actions in Congress will be to fight to get the Bipartisan Border Bill passed. **We will get the Border Patrol the resources they need, end the chaos at our border and stop transnational criminal organizations trafficking fentanyl.**



Our campaign is working day and night to tell Oklahomans the truth about Kevin Hern. When they hear that story there won’t be a place in the First District for MAGA extremism. **To tell that story I need your help. Our campaign needs funding to get that message out.**
