Registration is open for the spring cohort of the Entertainment Community Fund’s eight-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course!
MBSR uses meditation, gentle yoga and inquiry as a way of training people to relate differently to stresses in their lives. The course was originally developed for patients in chronic pain and has since been shown to be beneficial for dealing with stress and anxiety while improving overall well-being.
This course is free and requires participants to attend one orientation date and a brief one-on-one conversation with teacher Patrick Mellen.
Orientations will be held on March 21 and March 28. Join us for an in-depth look at the course, an introduction to mindfulness meditation and answers to your questions about how mindfulness might be of value to you.
