Salaam,
As we welcome the blessed month of Ramadan, a time of reflection, devotion, and renewal, we are reminded of the profound sense of community and shared humanity that binds us. This holy month offers us a chance to deepen our faith, to engage in sincere worship, and to extend our hands in compassion and solidarity towards those in need.
This Ramadan, our hearts and prayers are especially with the people of Palestine, who continue to face unimaginable hardships. The situation in Palestine weighs heavily on our conscience, as we remember that while we choose to fast, Gazans have been subjected to a forced, man-made starvation for the past 100+ days.
As we observe our fasts and engage in acts of worship, let us also remember the immense power of duaa. Our faith teaches us that duaa is a formidable force, one that can alter the course of history, mend the broken, and uplift the oppressed. Allah's ability to change the situation of any people is limitless. We must never lose faith in His omnipotence or in the transformative potential of our prayers.
In this sacred time, let our fasting be not just a physical abstention but a spiritual journey that compels us to act, to advocate, and to pray with purpose. Let us channel our energies into meaningful advocacy for our Palestinian brothers and sisters, holding firm to the belief that our concerted efforts can, and will, make a difference.
Please consider contributing to our cause as part of your Ramadan giving. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we aim to help.
