It’s Women’s History Month -- a time to celebrate women's achievements and contributions along with the progress we’ve made toward equality for all.
But John -- it’s hard to celebrate fully at a time when women’s rights are being systematically curtailed.
For 50 years, Roe v. Wade gave women the right to make their own decisions about their health and bodies but since the Supreme Court overturned Roe , 20 states have banned or restricted access to abortion care and women’s reproductive freedom.

Anti-choice extremists didn’t stop there though -- and we knew they wouldn’t. They’ve gone even further, prohibiting people’s right to travel for reproductive care, threatening to ban abortion medication, and now, Alabama’s Supreme Court has ruled that frozen embryos can be considered children, which will limit IVF treatment and make it harder for people who want to start families to do so.
We can’t lose hope though, John. My father and Democrats are working to restore access to reproductive care and put the power to make healthcare decisions back where they belong: between women, their doctors, and families.
If we’re going to make that happen, we must win back the House this November and re-elect President Biden.
