Dear John,

Big ‘Pro-Life’ is trying to present themselves as “pro-woman” through a partnership to provide a discount on pregnancy tests. Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, a national anti-abortion organization, has provided a code for a 15% discount on e.p.t. Pregnancy Tests through a partnership with NFI Consumer Products, the makers of the test.

We know free or cheap pregnancy tests are a carrot anti-abortion fake clinics use to take advantage of vulnerable people. We must stop it at both the local and national level. Donate today.

The discount was announced in an email from Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser. [1] The national anti-abortion organization holds incredibly regressive views on bodily autonomy including restricting access to in vitro fertilization and contraception. An employee of Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America expressed that these restrictions, including regulating IVF “in a more ethical way,” should be revisited in the coming years. [2]

Their final goal is, and always has been, fetal personhood. Give today to fund bold actions to stop them.

After we became aware of this partnership, we sent a letter to the CEO of NFI Consumer Products urging them to immediately terminate this irresponsible partnership and emphasizing Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America’s dangerous views and actions. E.p.t Pregnancy Tests providing a discount code allows Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America to not only amplify their message, but appears to be endorsing the actions and viewpoints of this dangerous organization.

This cannot stand.

We hope NFI is receptive to our feedback and will back out of this ill-advised partnership. We will continue to work to expose the work of anti-abortion bad actors.

In solidarity,

Erin Matson
Co-Founder, President, and CEO of Reproaction

P.S. Donate today to keep the pressure on about this and all the important reproductive justice issues facing people today.
