Beginning tonight after sunset, Muslim populations around the world will celebrate the holy month of Ramadan.
Even in places like Gaza — where ongoing conflict has created an unprecedented humanitarian crisis.
2.2 million people are on the brink of famine. One in six children aged under two are acutely malnourished. Newborns are dying because mothers are unable to get prenatal or postnatal care.
Millions around the world will honor their religious faith by fasting during daylight hours this Ramadan season, and this is all the more reason to not forget those who are forced to go hungry because there is simply no food to eat. In Gaza, people are growing more desperate by the day — turning to scavenged scraps of rotten corn, animal fodder unfit for human consumption, and even leaves.
The United Nations even warned that the alarming lack of food, surging malnutrition, and disease could lead to an "explosion" in child deaths in Gaza.
On this first night of Ramadan, will you consider delivering lifesaving care to those suffering in Gaza and around the world? Your Sadaqah (gift) will make a world of difference to those who need it most this Ramadan season. [[link removed]]

The suffering must end. We condemn the violence in Gaza, the West Bank, and Israel, including all sexual violence, and echo the UN Secretary-General’s call for a sustained humanitarian ceasefire and the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages by Hamas.
Thank you for being a part of this lifesaving work.
