John:

Trump’s federal election interference trial was supposed to begin last week, but instead the Supreme Court decided to delay the trial in order to hear his dangerous argument that he has absolute immunity as a former president. It’s possible this delay could push the ruling past the election in November. Sign the petition: Tell the Supreme Court to speed up Trump’s criminal trial!

Yet, the Court expedited the Colorado case that would have disqualified him from the November ballot for fomenting a deadly insurrection against the government he led and ruled in his favor last Monday.

The Trump-packed Court now has a pattern of making decisions based on what benefits the disgraced President and not what brings justice for the American people. The criminal accusations are serious and the evidence against him that we have seen so far is insurmountable. The public deserves to know whether someone running for president is a convicted criminal who should be punished accordingly for breaking the law.

Sign the petition: Voters deserve a ruling on Trump’s criminal trial ahead of the November election.

Demand Justice is leading the fight to #ExpandTheCourt. Now is the time to add four seats to the Supreme Court and confirm justices who will safeguard our democracy and our rights.
