We’re in a dangerous time, John.

Ukraine needs our help. They deserve our help. Not only to take the fight to Putin and defend themselves, but ultimately to defend all of us.

Much is uncertain these days, but this is clear: Putin has no intention of stopping with Ukraine. He has his eyes on Poland, the Baltic states, even Moldova. If we don’t help Ukraine, their defeat will pull the U.S. into war when we’re called upon to defend our NATO allies.

A strong NATO promotes peace. Victory in Ukraine promotes peace.

Chaos from Trump, encouraging Putin to invade our NATO allies — that encourages war.

Abandoning Ukraine and opening the door to further aggression from Russia — that encourages war.

That’s why this is so important to us. Not to advance conflict, but to preserve peace. And that’s why we’re bringing a ton of our friends to the Capitol later this week to press Speaker Johnson to pass aid for Ukraine. This will be a full court press from VoteVets, and we intend to get this bill across the finish line.
