Dear John,
We must work with the world to save lives.
We've been calling for international co-operation. The country is with us now. Show your support today. <[link removed]>
65% of Brits want the Government to seek membership of the EU Early Warning and Response System (EWRS) for medical emergencies. And 64% of people agree the transition period should be extended to allow us to beat Coronavirus before finishing Brexit negotiations.
Best for Britain supporters have been clear in their support for measures to save lives and contain the virus. We have called on the Government to take advantage of our links with our closest neighbours and make sure we have a Europe-wide co-ordinated response.
Thousands of you signed our petition two weeks ago <[link removed]> asking the Government to do everything in its power to save lives β including retaining access to EU health schemes.
Now it turns out the Government missed the email invitation from Europe to join the multi-national bulk-buy plan for emergency medical supplies. We could get life-saving equipment like masks and ventilators, faster and cheaper.
Ministers say they will "look atβ taking part. Sign here to tell them to do it now. <[link removed]>

Best for Britain has commissioned a joint poll (read more here <bestforbritain.org/poll_brits_want_brexit_transition_extension>) with our friends at HOPE not Hate which clearly shows the public supports international co-operation to fight COVID-19.
Across the political spectrum, the British people want the Government to work with Europe β even 55% of Conservative voters want us to join the EWRS. And the NHS Confederation has identified membership of the body as a priority.
We are urging Government to make use of international schemes, particularly the Europe-wide joint bulk-buy for medical supplies our NHS urgently needs.
Sign now and call on the Government to do everything it takes. <[link removed]>
In the longer-term, we need the UK to retain membership of the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the European Centre for Disease Control (ECDC). This will give us fast track access to a coronavirus vaccine, once one becomes available.
Tell them to work with the world <[link removed]>
A global Britain cannot be seen to walk away from a global crisis. We cannot tackle this alone.
We need co-operation and partnership with our closest allies to save as many lives as possible. Now is the time to work together to save lives. <[link removed]>
Best wishes,
Naomi Smith
