Headline after headline shows that Democrats are at serious risk of losing our razor-thin 51-49 Senate majority. I'm urgently reaching out for your support because good governance depends on it.

Look, it's no surprise that Donald Trump and his buddies are relishing these headlines.

Losing the Senate would grant Trump an even bigger voice in the legislation that makes its way through our chamber. And he wouldn't even need to be president for that to happen.

If we forego every last effort to protect our majority, we're giving a green light for the MAGA agenda to be put in front of the Senate: cracking down even further on reproductive freedom (we all saw what just happened in Alabama), leaving our allies overseas high and dry, and dismantling the ACA.

We need to take these headlines for what they are: warning signs. We need to act now.
