France recently became the world's first country to enshrine abortion in its constitution.
As this law went into effect, a mass celebration was held, and the words “#MyBodyMyChoice” were projected on the Eiffel Tower.
People cheered. They played music with the lyrics: “Who runs the world? Girls.”
What are they celebrating? The “right” to kill.
Why is the concept of girls running the world equal to the right to kill babies in the womb? Killing your baby does not empower you as a woman. It never has, and it never will.
Motherhood – the most profound aspect of womanhood – is being rejected in favor of the murder of innocent children.
Yes, women have rights to their bodies. So do men.
You have bodily autonomy, and so do I. But my right to my body alone stops where another life, another body begins.
In a pregnancy, there are two lives, and both of those lives – the mother and the child – deserve protection and care.
This is dark news from France, but there is hope. I’ve seen over and over that when people see the truth about abortion, they change their minds.
Our world is being brainwashed, but the truth shines regardless. We just need to share the truth.
When people who consider themselves pro-abortion see the humanity of the child in the womb and make the connection that life begins from the moment of fertilization, and from that moment holds inherent value, they begin to realize they have been misled by the abortion lobby.
When people are shown the facts about how abortion kills a living baby through poison and/or dismemberment, they are given the freedom to change their minds.
You and I can provide this knowledge and this freedom to one person at a time. Person by person, state by state, and country by country, we can end abortion. And we will end abortion.
Let’s courageously continue in this life-saving work until beautiful spaces and icons, like the Eiffel Tower, worldwide are filled with LIFE celebrations, not death.
For Life,
Lila Rose
