John, Matt Gaetz is up to no good (as usual).
One month ago, on February 6th, Rep. Matt Gaetz (R, FL-01) introduced a resolution declaring former President Trump did not incite the insurrection on January 6th, 2021.
This is factually false and a prime example of how MAGA extremism has Congress in its clutches. These MAGA cronies are constantly trying to rewrite history and outright lie to benefit Donald Trump — in hopes of installing him in the White House again.
We’ve got to call the attack of January 6th, 2021 what it was: a dangerous, violent, and unconstitutional insurrection that targeted our democracy and was spurred on by our own President — Donald Trump.

This is just the latest attempt by MAGA extremists like Rep. Gaetz and Speaker Johnson to destroy public trust in our election systems, perpetuate the Big Lie, and absolve Trump of his crimes.
It just can’t be disputed: on January 6, 2021, a violent mob of Trump supporters infiltrated and attacked the U.S. Capitol Building in hopes of stopping the legal certification of a democratic election and discounting the votes of millions of Americans. We won’t let the MAGA puppets in Congress rewrite history to their benefit.
