John,

People don’t trust politicians – often with good reason. I believe that the way you campaign says a lot about how you’ll act in office. You’ll often get “hair on fire” emails from candidates about their “make or break” mid-month or end-of-month deadline. There’s no such thing.

So, I hope you know you can believe me when I say that, at the end of this month, our campaign is facing our most critical test of 2024 so far: the March FEC fundraising deadline.

This isn’t some fake deadline that campaigns make up to trick supporters into donating. This deadline is real, and what we raise will be seen by everyone. Allow me to explain further, but if you’re already committed to helping us hit our goal, then chip in here to help us have a strong FEC report →

The Federal Election Commission mandates all federal campaigns publicly report how much they raised in the quarter and from how many donors. This deadline is even more critical for our campaign because this is the first quarter of the actual election year.

Last year, because of you, we made history. We broke the all-time Arizona fundraising record and were the only challenger campaign in America to outraise the incumbent every quarter.

But that means that the Trump-controlled Republican National Committee, which is dead set on holding this battleground district, will be looking at our report under a microscope to find any signs of slowed momentum.

And it’s not just Republicans. All the reporters, pundits, and donors who took notice of our historic momentum last year will certainly be watching if we can sustain and grow this people-powered campaign.

Hitting our end-of-quarter goal and increasing our momentum is a tall order, especially when we’re up against David Schweikert’s big-money corporate donors. But I’m not worried. We’ve been here before, and I know this grassroots team has what it takes to help us grow this campaign and win this election.

Now that you know the stakes, here’s where I ask again for your support. John, I'm going to be honest with you: we need to raise $62,000 before the end of March to ensure we’re on track to hit our goal.

Can I count on you to donate $25, $50, or more to help this grassroots campaign today? No matter how much you chip in, it all goes a long way in ensuring we get this done and win in November.
