We'd like to share a few updates around upcoming events and happenings around Akron DSA. Our comrades have been working hard during this time and we'd like to share some of the work being done as well. This is a pivotal time in our history and is more important than ever to stay engaged and continue to work towards a more just and equitable world for all.   • Our comrade Cory points out the hypocrisy of trying to contain a pandemic with a profit driven health care system. "With many people in the United States without healthcare that pays for every health cost they need, Medicare for All would help contain the coronavirus."

Ohio Voting Update

The coronavirus crisis has changed the trajectory of our lives. As we work to overcome those challenges, it’s still important to have your voice heard in the Ohio primary. The Ohio General Assembly has put in place a plan that will allow all Ohioans to continue voting by mail until April 28. Don’t lose your voice! Vote!

Request your absentee ballot by April 25th

Follow these instructions on how to vote by mail:

1. Fill out the Absentee Ballot Request Form ASAP: https://www.ohiosos.gov/elections/voters/absentee-ballot/

2. Print the completed form and sign at the bottom.
