And we’re demanding that Biden invest in our generation.
Friend,
Young people are tired of hearing crickets from President Biden and his administration on the longlist of issues of our time: immigrant rights, climate change, gun violence, racial and economic inequality, attacks on reproductive rights, LGBTQ+ protections, and a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.
On Thursday night, President Biden laid out his vision for the future of America in his State of the Union Address — and it was a reminder that the President is still far from delivering a progressive agenda that not only aligns with the priorities of young voters but also unequivocally condemns the racist fear-mongering, scapegoating, and divisive rhetoric promoted by MAGA Republicans for political gain.
Today, immigrant youth at UWDA join young organizers across the country in showing the Biden-Harris Administration that we, too, are building the vision of our collective future — one where immigrants can live in safety and dignity.
Young people are ready to mobilize, and we're sending the President and his administration our “Finish the Job Youth Agenda.” We have a clear playbook for success that he must follow if he wants our support in November. We demand President Biden runs on a bold progressive agenda that invests in the issues of our time!
This agenda is a unified vision of our future and a call for the Biden-Harris Administration to step up and deliver for the young people who worked tirelessly to elect them to office. Check out our demands here!
As young constituents, we’ve been clear about what we want: humane immigration solutions and permanent protections for immigrants. We won’t allow far-right politicians across the country to continue spreading anti-immigrant policies and narratives that threaten our freedom to move, stay, and thrive in our chosen homes. If President Biden wants us to show up for him in November, he must fight for the future of our communities at every step of the way.
We’re organizing around the clock on the issues that impact our generation the most, and we’re the key to winning the White House in 2024. Join us in building the vision of our collective future today.
