Latin America
Praise God for the "More than Conqueror" survivor retreat for children and adolescents currently taking place at an eco-farm in Peru. The 24 children attending the retreat are participating in eco-workshops, bonfires and other activities that help them remember that the violence they experienced does not define them and they can overcome the pain with God’s help. Please pray for the retreat volunteers so that God may use them as channels of His love, and that God will continue to heal these children’s hearts.
Africa & Europe
Please pray that all the victims we are currently assisting in Europe remain safe and make progress in their restoration journeys. We specifically pray that those who want to go back to school and finish their studies are able to successfully do so, and the ones looking for work will find well-paid, safe jobs. Pray for their sustained safety and security as they rebuild their lives after trafficking.
South Asia
Pray for our hiring of key staff roles to expand our work. In particular, we are looking for lawyers and law enforcement experts to join our frontlines teams across South Asia. Pray we can find women and men with the right combinations of technical skills and a solid heart for God’s justice. Pray for God’s divine creativity for our recruiters and leaders as we build a great team!
Asia Pacific
Praise God for the gathering of all regional support staff in the Asia Pacific region this week! This marks the first time that staff have gathered to plan how to support our programs and initiatives in the region. Join us in praying for safety as teams return home and for this gathering to serve as a catalyst for creating stronger teams through shared experiences.
