“ I enjoy the act of going against the grain when warranted to bring factual information to people that others are trying to hide ,” Sharyl Attkisson told SHF’s Leah Wilson in a recent interview.

In Attkisson’s latest bombshell book, which will be launched later this year, she takes readers on a journey through the dark underbelly of the powerful and corrupt pharmaceutical industry. “Follow the $cience: How Big Pharma Misleads, Obscures, and Prevails” is a must-read for anyone who cares about the future of our health care system.

Calling what has happened to public health in this country “one of the biggest scandals of our time,” Attkisson says that the real “misinformation” being spread is not what’s being talked about by those who’ve been critical of modern American medicine. Rather, it’s the “misinformation that’s been furthered by the medical establishment, as well as our government, and even our private doctors, because … medical schools are full of doctors being taught a curriculum largely designed by the pharmaceutical industry.”
