JOHN, Tim is always up to something when it comes to his duties in Congress—and this year is no different. He’s been busy drafting legislation that will make a serious impact, so we want to keep you in the loop. First up, he’s reintroducing the Do Your Job Act, which would slash members of Congress’ paychecks by 10% every year they fail to pass an annual budget. As he put it, this is the most basic of congressional duties, and when they fail in this regard, they’re failing the American people. Would you still get paid if you failed to do your job? Of course not, and the same rules should apply in Congress. Donate $15 if you agree with us. Next, Tim introduced the Building Lasting Opportunities for Community K-12 (BLOCK) Act. This one tackles the “diversity” crud they keep shoving down our throats. It would prevent the Department of Education from cherry-picking which schools get cash based on whether they fall in line with the woke political agenda. A school’s top priority should be what’s best for students, not dancing around diversity quotas. They all deserve the grants they need to teach our kids. Can you get behind Tim and show your support on this one? |
Thanks for always having our back! You're a vital part of Team Burchett, and we're lucky to have you on board. Enjoy the weekend! Sincerely, Team Burchett |
