I wanted to share a happy update with you: Yesterday, I was released from the hospital after a little over a week and I am now at home recovering while also continuing to quarantine myself.

It feels really good to be home. I want to thank everybody for your many thoughts and prayers that you shared with me and my family over social media, email, and so many other ways. Your support has really meant a lot during this time.

Again, I want to remind people that this is really serious. I can tell you firsthand to not underestimate this virus, and how quickly you can go from being healthy to really struggling to breathe. Please take the advice of the CDC seriously and follow all the guidelines >> [link removed]

As I'm recovering, I am still focused on what we can be doing in Congress to help people through this tough time. I'm grateful that Washington was able to get something passed, but there's more to be done to make sure Utahns have what they need.

You'll be hearing more from me and my team in the coming days about the resources and support available. For now, I hope you and your families are staying safe and healthy during this public health crisis.
