John,

Yesterday, I reached out asking for your thoughts on the State of the Union address. Here’s what you said:

- 60% of you planned to watch the address.
- 89% of you said the address has become increasingly political in recent years.
- 71% wanted President Biden to address Border Security.
- 69.4% wanted President Biden to address Crime/Support for Law Enforcement.
- 62.5% wanted President Biden to address the Budget Deficit.
What we saw last night was more of the same — divided, toxic politics that have taken over Washington.

Marylanders know that the State of our Union is dangerously divided and off track. Washington continues to fail to address the ongoing crisis at our Southern Border and families are continuing to suffer from the costs of inflation and crime.

This is not just about the differences between the right and the left, this is about the difference between right and wrong.

None of these pressing challenges can be solved by one party alone or the same kind of typical partisan politicians. It’s time to send a message to Washington: we are completely fed up with politics-as-usual and demanding change.

If you agree that we need a new type of leadership in Washington,

I’m humbly asking you to follow this link and join my campaign by chipping in $5, $10, or even $25.

We will never change Washington if we sit on the sidelines and watch the toxicity worsen. We've already shown a better path forward and I'm asking you to join me today so we can get back to work.

Thank you,

Larry Hogan
