On Tuesday, voters selected our Democratic nominees for the 2024 ballot. I couldn’t be more proud of, or have more confidence in, the leaders who will represent our party — especially at this crossroads moment.

GOP nominee Mark Robinson has denied the Holocaust, spread the Big Lie that Donald Trump won the 2020 presidential election, called LGBTQ+ people “filth,” and suggested school shooting victims are crisis actors.
Meanwhile, Republican legislators have gone all-in on national Republican culture-war issues like attacking LGBTQ+ students in schools, banning abortion, and diverting funding away from public schools.
Republicans could reshape this state in a matter of months if we allow them to win in November.
John, I won my elections in the same years Donald Trump won the state. I know Democrats can succeed in North Carolina by reaching out to folks in every corner of the state and addressing the kitchen-table issues they see in their communities. We have a winning agenda — as long as voters can hear it.
I’m working with Democratic nominees up and down the ballot to defeat GOP extremism at every level of the ballot. Together, we’ll appeal to North Carolinians of every party affiliation and background. We won’t leave anyone behind.
