Yesterday marked Sine Die , the end of the legislative session, and it was a banner year in taking good progressive action to create a better Washington for all.

During the 2024 legislative session, Senate Democrats passed legislation that makes our communities safer with new gun control measures, increases funding for special education, expands behavioral health services, and bans police from “hog-tying” suspects. Other victories included expanding transportation funding to complete highway projects and invest in the expansive ferry fleet, prohibiting book bans, and creating more pathways for affordable home ownership.
