Friend,
I was impressed with Biden's speech last night. He touched on all the issues important to Americans.
Most importantly, it underscored the need for issue-based leadership in our district. One thing that sets me apart from my opponents is how I'm campaigning—I'm unafraid to talk about issues, make my positions known, and speak out about the things that matter.
I've recently drafted a "State of our District" address, highlighting just a few areas where we are challenged and can improve.
Friends, we need resources to fund our massive outreach program to get our message out to the entire district. Your contributions fund that effort. Thank you.
I'm proud of our accomplishments, but like many in rural America, I worry about my country. When half of Congress last night offered ovations and others jeered, our national divisions were apparent.
We can't just be a 'Republican-led House' and 'Democratic-led Senate and President.' It's the People's House, Senate, and President.
We can never forget hardworking everyday people.
Our government and its systems can endure only through the resiliency of the people who uphold and protect its ideals.
The nation could learn from my district. Despite poor Congressional leadership, we tackle problems with grit, strength, and loyalty to our friends, family, neighbors, and communities.
If our representative legislated with the same fiercely independent spirit as his constituents, the strength of our district would rival anywhere in the country.
Thank you for contributing to help me help us all thrive.
