Last night President Biden delivered a powerful and compelling State of
the Union address.

Speaking directly to the American public and his colleagues in Congress,
Biden touted the remarkable progress he has made over the past three years
and laid out an ambitious agenda for the year ahead. One that will address
some of the day’s most pressing issues but that could be impaired by
Congressional Republicans who are obstructing bipartisan legislation that
would benefit the nation at the demand of former President Trump.

Unfortunately absent from President Biden’s speech last night was the
incredible progress he has made in restoring balance and integrity to our
federal judiciary, through the confirmation of more than 180 exceptional
nominees – including Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson.

Today People For and our progressive allies are renewing our call for
President Biden and Senate Democrats to continue building upon the
progress they’ve made and move quickly to fill all remaining vacancies!
